Consent that holds before anyone clicks.

ConsentAlly is being built to block tracking scripts until the visitor decides, without slowing the page: it reads the browser's privacy signal first, tells Google what it may do, and holds back scripts nobody has checked yet.

What it is built to do

Before the visitor decides

A tracker that fires before the visitor has chosen is the failure a consent banner exists to prevent, and it is the one store owners cannot see from their own screen. ConsentAlly is being built so that the moment before the choice is covered first: a small script runs ahead of everything else, holds what has not been allowed, and fails closed if the configuration has not arrived. A script nobody has classified yet will be held too, and shown to the store owner with the page it appeared on.

Built for Shopify first

Shopify's own banner governs Shopify's pixels and checkout, but not tags loaded through Google Tag Manager or theme code. ConsentAlly is being built to hold those tags and pass the visitor's decision to Shopify, so one banner covers the whole storefront. How the Shopify gap works.
